2. DIAGNOSIS

The second phase analyzes tailings issues that define the potential causes of dusting events and the areas that are sensitive to dusting. Midwest performs laboratory testing to confirm the correct design of our solution, with common tests including Atterberg Limits (Liquid, Plastic and Shrinkage Limits), Particle Specific Gravity, Gradation, Permeability, Density, Strength, Compaction, Consolidation and Rheology.

3. DESIGN

Solution and design options are examined in this phase, with Midwest’s formulation and application process selected to create the bound matrix design for optimum performance. To achieve desired performance properties and longevity, we develop a dust control plan well in advance of predicted need and work with you to create a sufficient budget for funds and manpower to implement the program.

4. DELIVER
